Functional Entities
EODB Services Pvt. Ltd
The Piloting Agency EODB Services Pvt. Ltd. has following functions as a Special Purpose Entity (SPE) for the project:
- Evaluation and testing of Proof of Concept (POC)
- Prototyping them technically and commercially
- Issuing results in the form of Provisional Letter of Award (LoA)
EODB Services Pvt. Ltd. is also the nodal examining entity of all EODB Pilots to provide advance services for technical interoperability, regulatory compliance, and financial modelling.
NHEV Pilot Program
NHEV Pilot Program is a real-world testing ground facilitating onboarded participants with integrated periodic and specific Technical Trials to establish their regulatory, technical and commercial equivalence with following arrangements:
- Focused deliberations, documentation and regulatory vetting of proposed upgradation
- Inclusion of recommendations, directions, guidelines, specifications, certifications and regulations issued by competent bodies / agencies to validate the Pilot.
- Onboarding banks, investors, and market entities to provide real-time inputs as Pilot stakeholder to maximize precision in developing scalable and monetizable models.
NHEV Greenways Pvt. Ltd.
Since EODB Pilots are real-world evidence-based technical trials aimed to accelerate adoption of emerging technologies, solving policy bottlenecks with their commercial equivalences; often builds scalable, bankable, monetizable ‘Prototypes’. It necessitates formation of special entities to scale such assets nationwide, since the Piloting Agency and the Pilot Program are asset-lite and neutral incorporations with their piloting limitations.
Formation of Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to scale increases participation of companies, partners, stakeholders and investors in such evidence-based policymaking to build confidence on new models and profitable assets; needed to provide challenging solutions in today’s emerging markets with advance technologies.
