POC - Prototype - Pilot
Proof of Concept (POC)
Pre-Commercialisation
In-house development carried out by the Applicant (Company) participating in the Pilot.
Intellectual Property Right (IP) and expenditure to develop such in-house PoC is completely owned and borne by its owning company. Piloting Agency or the Project has no provision to fund it at POC stage — it is formed on the basis on which the Applicant/Company applied for the Prototype & Pilot.
Acceptance of application and approval to participate in the Pilot are issued on this basis. On issuance, the Applicant becomes a Partner, eligible to participate in the trial and elevate the POC into a project-specific prototype.
Prototype
Partially Commercialised
Piloting Agency shares cost of orchestrating overarching integrations to Prototype participants’ Technology, Products and Services. Such expenditures are accounted as procurement expense from physical assets formed if any during the Prototype to reimburse participants’ expenses.
For a physical / material sample prototype, the participants may request (the Piloting Agency) to share the prototyping cost of the sample unit to be reimbursed from asset formed if any during the Prototype.
Pilot Project’s projection and estimation includes such physical and virtual unit expenditure, established during the prototype to issue the Provisional terms to participants as success indicator of Prototyping.
Pilot Rollout
LC Based Escrow · Fully Commercialised
Performance and work executed by a participant completed its Prototype is fully commercialised and compensated on their own established and consented provisional terms.
Participants’ established and consented terms in the Provisional Letter of Awards (LoA) gets converted into a unit-wise PO / Final LoA, from LC based ESCROW arrangements in their specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entities to build assets in the Pilot phase.
EoDB reserves the right to assign and issue the Provisional LoA for final consideration of Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entities to build assets as per their progress & demand in the Pilot phase.
